Rookies are our youngest player, sometimes called t-ball.  This is an introduction to the game of baseball. Kids will learn the basic rules and terms of the game. They will work on skills such as throwing, catching and hitting a ball off a tee. Softer baseballs are used to keep things safe. 

Game Nights,

Rookies games are typically Tuesday and Thursday nights and an occasional late Sunday afternoon.  Game times are 5:00 or 6:30. Practice time is the first 30 minutes, game is the last 45 minutes. 

Equipment Needed

Every child needs a baseball glove, closed toed shoes (spikes are not needed) and a helmet. Lake Park provides balls,bats a team t-shirt and cap.
